For teachers

SPARKS supports you in making school more innovative, practical and future-oriented. Together with teachers, we have developed programmes that can be seamlessly integrated into lessons and inspire pupils to learn about new topics.

All teachers can use SPARKS programmes free of charge.

If you have an idea, we will assist you in developing your own SPARKS programme.

Use SPARKS programmes

Our SPARKS programmes are free of charge, tried and tested, and easy to implement. They were developed by experienced secondary school teachers and have been successfully used in everyday school life.

Download the materials directly or contact us if you would like to implement a programme at your school. We are happy to support you. We offer the following programmes:

BEAM

BEAM (Business Entrepreneurship And Math) is a one-year programme in upper secondary school that connects school with the business world. Pupils pursue their own start-up ideas. Input comes from external experts.

IuM

IuM (Computer Science and Media Education) supports teachers in the new compulsory subject with practical materials and innovative concepts available for free download.

BU

BE YOU! is a teaching unit lasting several weeks for girls in Year 6 or 7 physical education classes. It combines exercise with personal development. For greater self-awareness, strength and cohesion.

financial education

Over several years, pupils develop an understanding of how to handle money responsibly in various lessons, e.g. basic investment options and insurance.

Rule of law and democracy

In a game, Year 9 pupils learn how our constitutional state works and where our democracy is vulnerable.

BU

for boys

In parallel with BE YOU! for girls, we are developing a programme to promote personal skills for boys. This teaching unit is embedded in physical education lessons in Year 6 or 7.

Experience democracy

This course for Year 7 includes an exercise in democratic self-efficacy. Over four weeks, history and English lessons are devoted entirely to the topic of “democracy”.
