This website does not store any personal data. Data (such as your IP address) is exchanged between you and our server solely for the purpose of establishing a technical connection. This data is deleted immediately. This website is hosted by STRATO (based in Germany/EU).

If you send us an e-mail, your details will be stored to enable us to respond. Our e-mail provider is also STRATO. Once the correspondence has been concluded, your data will be deleted promptly, and no later than seven days thereafter. This deletion will subsequently be carried out automatically in the relevant backups of the e-mail provider.

You are entitled to request information about the data stored about you. If the data is inaccurate, you may request its rectification; if the data has been stored unlawfully, you may request its deletion. You also have the right to request restriction of processing and the right to data portability. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Registration for Access to Teaching Materials

A one-off registration is required to download our teaching materials. The following data is collected and stored:

  • Your e-mail address (mandatory; used as your username)
  • Your type of school and the subjects you teach (mandatory)
  • Your password (mandatory; stored in encrypted form)

Your e-mail address is used exclusively to provide access to the teaching materials. The type of school you teach at and the subjects you teach are analysed anonymously for statistical purposes to improve our services.

Newsletter

You may optionally subscribe to our newsletter. In this case, your e-mail address will additionally be used to send you information by e-mail about new materials and relevant updates.

  • We use the double opt-in procedure for sending newsletters. After registering, you will receive an e-mail containing a confirmation link. Your address will only be added to the mailing list once you have confirmed it. If you do not receive an e-mail, please check your spam folder or contact us for manual subscription.
  • You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every e-mail or by notifying us directly.

Legal Basis

The processing of data is carried out based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Consent is given as part of the registration process and may be withdrawn at any time by deleting your user account or by notifying us informally. Separate consent is also required for the newsletter (double opt-in). This consent may likewise be withdrawn at any time.

Data Retention Period

Your data will be stored for as long as your user account remains active. You may request deletion of your account at any time. Upon deletion of the account, your personal data will be erased without undue delay, provided that no statutory retention obligations apply.
